You can also serve it as a salad or with sweet fruit options such as pineapple or mango kebabs for a refreshing twist.
Salmon is an excellent choice for those on easy weight loss programs and diets because it’s a lean, complete protein. This means it contains all nine of the essential amino acids your body needs to function and build muscle. Lean protein is also filling and good for digestion. One serving of salmon contains more than a day’s worth of vitamin D and is very rich in omega-3 fatty acids.
The sauce ingredients are also very antioxidant-rich and beneficial. Ginger has been touted for its healing for centuries and promotes healthy digestion. The red pepper flakes boost your metabolism and green onions are packed with vitamin K. The Manuka honey contains four times the nutritional content of regular honey, rounding out the many benefits of this recipe.
