Low-carb recipes are ideal for easy weight loss programs—and this delicious one for Spinach & Feta Salmon is packed with nutrients, making it an excellent way to stay on track with your health goals.

Salmon is packed with omega-3 fatty acids, which are considered “healthy fats” by weight loss centers. The types of omega-3s found in salmon are known to reduce inflammation, help prevent chronic illnesses and improve brain-cell communication. They also help reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease and stroke, while strengthening your immune system and improving lung function. In addition, they are a great choice for those following easy weight loss programs, as they help stabilize our blood sugar levels and avoid the “spikes” that contribute to weight gain, and may elevate our moods, which can curb emotional eating.

Spinach is also loaded with nutrients—it’s packed with vitamins A, E, D and K, D, as well as a host of trace minerals. This delicious leafy green also has a high fiber content, so it keeps us feeling fuller longer and promotes healthy digestion. In addition, studies show that it contains more than a dozen different antioxidant flavonoid compounds that are tremendous for our health. Our medical weight loss centers consider them a perfect food for weight loss and health.
