This recipe features lean protein in the form of skinless chicken breasts. Lean protein is excellent for weight loss, as it takes longer for our bodies to digest and metabolize. It helps you fill up faster and stay full for a greater period of time. The amino acids in lean protein ensures you lose fat rather than muscle, and help build the lean muscle we need to increase our daily caloric burn.

2 ounces of skinless boneless chicken breasts
5 tbsp whole wheat breadcrumbs
2 tbsp Parmesan cheese (grated)
2 tsp extra virgin olive oil
Extra virgin olive oil spray
Himalayan sea salt and freshly ground pepper to taste
Your favorite spices
Preheat the oven to 425°. Cut the chicken into bite-sized pieces. Season the pieces with the freshly ground pepper and Himalayan sea salt. Mix the chicken in a bowl with the extra virgin olive oil and whole wheat breadcrumbs. Add any spices that you like.
Roll the chicken pieces onto the breadcrumbs until evenly covered. Lightly spray a cooking sheet with the extra virgin olive oil spray and then arrange the chicken on it with space in between each nugget. Sprinkle with parmesan cheese and then bake for 8 to 10 minutes. Turn them over and cook for approximately 5 more minutes or until golden brown.
