Believe it or not, I was referred to the American Weight Loss Centers by my bariatric surgeon. I was being evaluated by the surgeon for gastric bypass, but because I was too overweight, the surgeon thought it would be safer for me to lose some weight before I went ahead with the surgery. That's when he suggested that I see the doctors at American Weight Loss Centers.
